triangleCreative Confidence by David  and Tom Kelley

Creative Confidence is all about exposing the creative potential within all of us. This book is not written for or to designers, rather to anyone who is employed and wishes to solve meaningful problems with breakthrough discoveries as a result of creative confidence.

triangleTrashy Yoga Presented by AAF Daytona Beach

A few Markentum team members participated in AAF Daytona Beach's first Trashy Yoga event, their public service project for the year. The project includes 30 minutes of safe, socially distant yoga at the beach and 45 minutes of cleaning trash off the beach together!

Trashy Yoga aims to engage personal wellness through yoga, and community wellness through beach and waterway cleanup. Trashy Yoga will take place four times this year throughout Volusia County.

triangleArt of the Brick | Denver Museum of Nature & Science

This is a temporary exhibit by Nathan Sawaya who builds larger than life figural sculptures made entirely out of Lego bricks. My favorite part of the exhibit was a body of work that included reproductions of classic art pieces - like Van Gogh's Starry Night or the Venus de Milo - made out of Lego bricks.

The artist made sure that the sculptures were either to scale or larger than their originals. This was a fun exhibit to see how the Sawaya could push the medium and a reminder that art can be made out of anything!

We use Google for just about everything here at Markentum! One way we use their forms tool is for our book club. Forms are easy to create and track results. Each month we use a form to vote on our next book and decide which genres to explore in future months!
