I first learned about Grant Cardone, a.k.a. Mr. 10X, when he was a highly anticipated speaker at the Traffic and Conversion Summit. I watched him on Undercover Billionaire on Discovery Plus (he was placed in Pueblo, Colorado, which is only a few miles down the road from the Markentum team in Colorado Springs - how cool is that?!).

Grant has so many interesting and successful advertising tips to share. Follow his Instagram for business and advertising tidbits as well as a look inside the life of this extremely successfully self-made man.

triangleMy Octopus Teacher | Netflix

Winner of Best Documentary Feature at the 2021 Oscars, this beautiful film conveys the power of relationships between dissimilar beings. You learn not only about the intelligence (both mental and emotional) of octopuses, but also the transferability of shared experiences across species.

triangleSuch a Fun Age by Kiley Reid

This book is described as "a big-hearted story about race and privilege... with empathy and piercing social commentary, that explores the stickiness of transactional relationships, what it means to make someone "family," the complicated reality of being a grown-up, and the consequences of doing the right thing for the wrong reason."

While it was a book that I've had on my Want To Read list, I just finished it and unfortunately, was disappointed a number of times throughout the book and felt like the ending was abrupt. I wanted to like this one because I have heard good things, but you'll have to check it out and let me know if you disagree!
