Sweet Tooth | Netflix
Based on a comic book by the same name, this Netflix original series tells the story of a young boy nicknamed Sweet Tooth. In a not-to-distant dystopian future, a virus has decimated much of the human population across the world.
At the same time, human-animal hybrids are born in place of human children. Sweet Tooth is a human-deer hybrid. Which came first, the virus or the hybrids? Are the hybrids spreading the virus or could they be the cure? This series is very exciting but slow to reveal its secrets to the audience. There are a lot of parallels to our own recent experiences with COVID-19. Sweet Tooth is an intense reminder that the line between civilized society and total anarchy is thinner than we would like to admit.

Rowing the Atlantic: Lessons Learned on the Open Ocean by Roz Savage
Great autobiography about Roz who rowed the Atlantic ocean solo in the 2005 Atlantic Rowing Race. It was a great book that took you through her whole experience - from what happened in her life that led her to enter the race, what she had to do to overcome many hardships during the race, and the outcome of the amazing life-changing event itself.
It was an honest and inspirational read that has reminded me that I can do anything I set my mind to!

This website will tell you what time you should go to bed or get up in order to get the best sleep, without breaking up your sleep cycles. I usually use the option for going to bed right now and it will then give 4-5 options for the best time to wake up.

Portland is indeed "weird," but this aspect makes it unique and fun to explore. Additionally, wine country in the Willamette Valley is incredible. Cheaper and less crowded than Napa/Sonoma with no drop-off in quality. Get out and explore nature!
