This is a book written in 1937 about a future, where individuals don't have names, independence, or values. All traces of individualism are completely wiped out. With such a restrictive environment, the story gets going when one individual allows freedom and creativity to make him stand out from the herd...
I have enjoyed this book that makes you really think about the freedoms we have and how each unique individual has their own perspective and creativity that should be celebrated. It is also a quick read!

Pigeon River Pottery | Pigeon Forge, TN
While in Tennessee, we visited my favorite local pottery shop in Pigeon Forge. The pottery shop sells all manner of functional wares, and we always pick up a couple of coffee mugs while we're there. The shop supplies all of the dishware used at The Old Mill Pottery House Cafe, where you can eat lunch after shopping around Pigeon Forge!

A Secret Love | Netflix
Two ladies work through coming out to their family and the decision to enter a retirement facility as they age. It spends a bunch of time on what it was like to be LGBTQ+ and how careful they had to be about their love. Beautiful and inspiring!
