Markentum's Thoughts: Growing Our Commitment to Senior Living & Marketing

Markentum focuses on digital marketing in the senior living industry, and we are continually working to grow our expertise in both areas. As we continue to be intentional about this effort, we have been presented with amazing opportunities to connect with wonderful people, and by extension, the communities where they are active and involved.

Two of the organizations that we are excited to grow our connection with are the American Advertising Federation Daytona Beach and LeadingAge Tennessee. Recently, I have received the honor of being asked to join both of these organizations in a leadership capacity. I want to share their correlation to Markentum, each other, and how I hope to foster and encourage meaningful conversation between the digital marketing world and the senior living industry.

AAF Daytona Beach 🖥

With over 200 chapters across the United States, the American Advertising Federation was established in 1905 as an organization to provide a unifying voice for advertising. The ongoing mission of AAF is to connect members across all career levels in advertising to showcase the outstanding work being done in the industry, as well as share what is taking place on a government level in terms of advocating for the protection of creative freedoms. On a local level, the AAF Daytona Beach chapter provides a fantastic environment for local professionals to be involved with all things advertising! Markentum is proud to have won several awards through the AAF Daytona Beach in recognition of our marketing and advertising efforts focused on senior living.

This year, I am honored to have been invited to be the Incoming President and Education Chair for AAF Daytona Beach. As the President of Markentum, this new role is exciting because I will have the opportunity to see and hear what others are doing in the creative arena; utilizing the most current tools and resources available. I am looking forward to taking these best practices and putting them to action for senior living.

LeadingAge Tennessee 🧠

Another incredible organization, LeadingAge Tennessee, has also invited me to be on their Board of Directors. I am excited to work with the LATN team to serve the state of Tennessee in championing advancement and innovation in the world of aging services. As part of the Education Committee, I look forward to lending my voice as part of the conversation supporting the realm of possibilities for aging. I hope that, through this experience, I will gain a better understanding and insight into the world of senior living and how the needs of the people involved can best be met. There is an eagerness in the LATN team to drive positive and meaningful action that will benefit families, care providers, and service providers in multifaceted ways. Markentum has always believed in the beauty of collaboration, and through LATN, I see amazing growth potential in learning more about actions that need to be taken on behalf of our partners.

With Markentum being passionate about senior living and marketing, I look forward to learning and sharing the innovative thoughts, ideas, and actions coming from all the people involved in these organizations.
