Internships have a bad rep. Interns are thought of as the coffee-getters, the paper-staplers, and the corporate slaves to their superior. As a college senior and young professional, I was intimidated by these labels simply because I wanted to have a purpose wherever I decided to work.

Last week, in honor of ‘The Longest Day’, Markentum went purple to raise Alzheimer’s awareness. At Markentum, we have a focus on the senior living industry and love being able to work with senior living communities throughout North America. Being able to help seniors and their loved ones find a place where they feel safe and cared for during their golden years makes every day at work worth it.
