Markentum Monday allows our team to share what places we're exploring this summer, what our Markentum Book Club is reading, and more! 🌱Make sure to follow our Spotify playlist, '2021: Music with Momentum' -- with new songs added every week -- to hear what we're listening to and loving!
Our most recent Markentum Book Club selection was Kurt Vonnegut’s 1952 novel, which follows Paul Proteus, an engineer who is navigating a dystopian world where everything is run by machines. Among other messages, the book highlights the negative impacts on quality of life when humans lose their sense of purpose. It's an interesting read as we now live in a world where technology is a significant part of our everyday lives.
“The main business of humanity is to do a good job of being human beings," said Paul, "not to serve as appendages to machines, institutions, and systems.”

I started following this Instagram account because Kris is a full-time caregiver of her grandmother who has Alzheimer's disease. It is a great account to follow as a reminder of the incredible caregivers out there! Their family does a great job of raising awareness about Alzheimer's, while also sharing ways they make the most of each day, whether it's getting outside or spending time with children, etc.

King's Landing | Apopka, Florida
This beautiful Florida spot has crystal clear waters and awesome swimming holes to cool down in after paddling upstream. Be sure to bring your Pub Subs because you will want to spend all day on these waters. Nothing like escaping for the day in the Florida outdoors and having a ton of fun!
