triangleCummins Falls, Tennessee

Recently, the Markentum team was in Nashville for a training workshop, and our President, Chris, was a part of LeadingAge Tennessee. In between the two events, he had a free Saturday and decided to go exploring! About an hour away from Nashville, he hiked downstream and found this gem of a waterfall, Cummins Falls.

After being inside all week, the adventure outdoors renewed my mind and brought fresh focus. Get outside and go exploring! Beauty is all around us to enjoy and experience.

triangleVSCO App

This popular photography app is free to download and allows users to edit their picture to perfection! It has all the tools needed to make your picture pop, from a simple brightness or contrast edit to a wide variety of filters made ready to go.

It's a great app to get creative and have fun with photography. It's quick and easy to use - we love it!

triangleUncanny Valley and Photorealism: The Lion King

Trope Anatomy dissects the minutiae of the live action remake and makes the argument that in the process of pursuing a photorealistic setting. The Lion King remake loses some of the emotive flare and characters of the animated version, while comparing recent similar high-end CGI such as Paddington as examples of very expressive and emotive animals.

What do you think? Did you enjoy the remake?
